Late 40’s male, 5’10” 178lbs. Looking to get back in shape, eat right, and feel better. Just not sure where to start at the gym and supplement wise. Slim, just don’t like the added inch or two around the midsection and having no energy feeling tired all the time. Slightly Low T and borderline anemic. TIA.

Get your calories and macros, weigh food and hit those.

Lift weights progressively using a linear progression program like Greyskull, StrongLifts or even something like ppsa grasshopper

You need to stop being lardass food addict. Stop eat so much and you will lose weight. I bet you are weakling also you should be ashamed for getting to this point. The first step is is to admit to being skinny fat beta male that needs to change.

I'm borderline anemic. Always have been. My doctor said it's not big deal as long as it stays consistent. Maybe I need to go to another doctor though. I feel fine.

This was me almost exactly. It’s called “skinny fat.”
You’re going to love yourself once the midsection shrinks and the arms and chest grow.

Stop drinking sugar.
Walk 30 minutes a day.
Drink 40 oz. of water a day.
Report back in a week.

I'm also always slightly anemic except when I took T back in my 20s that bumped me up to like 16hgb.
Normally like 12 to 12.5.
