I am confident in saying the Chinese Navy doesn't have near the shipboard damage control training that our Navy has. Without it, any ship mishap is a potential disaster waiting to happen.

Pretty sure China's shipbuilding industry is the largest in the world by a large margain.

It’s an easy claim to make when most of what they are building are small ships that aren’t very advanced

Well, it’s Chinese so that’s to be expected. Everything they make is a piece of shite.

got one of these on amazon's prime day last July. Took control of a few small island nations but when I moved on to bigger prizes it just wasn't up to the task. Hull leakage, conning tower's electronics weren't really ever fully functional, screw pitch was weirdly way over pitched for this size vessel.

Anyway, left it 3 outta 5 stars.

This post is a gem.

Reminds me of some of the WWII Japanese carriers which were just old battleships with a flight deck added.

The TEMU Navy gets a new toy.

I wonder if this one will be able to operate beyond sight of the mainland coast line. That'd put it in the top 10% of the Chinese Navy.

Do they even have helicopters for their helicopter carriers?

Also if this were the game of Battleship, one strike and that thing is going under, abandon ship.
