They did get ripped off, but it's only because more than 2 teams from the same conference can't make BCS games. It has nothing to do with Ohio State.

Huh??
There are 2 teams from BIG 10(OSU and PSU) as well as 2 from the SEC(UF and Bama) playing in BCS games.

actually from what I've read that's not entirely true...
If one conference somehow gets two teams into the BCSCG then a third team from that conference can be chosen in a non-championship BCS game that is affiliated with that conference.

The stipulation is that two non-champions from the same conference must be ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS poll. This is basically totally impossible.

It's a lot more likely in the PAC-10 or Big 10 than any conference with a championship game.
Say USC, Oregon, and Oregon State all finish next season at 8-1 in conference, and in a three-way tie for the PAC-10. But Oregon State has an OOC loss. They all beat each other, but the tiebreaker the PAC-10 uses, which isn't based on the BCS gives the Rose Bowl bid (and auto-qualifier) to the third best team, which would be Oregon State. If enough other losses happen, USC and Oregon could be 1 & 2 in the BCS and the PAC-10 could get three teams in.
