pretty sure that carwash is at the Katy Buccees

lets say for arguments sake that carwash runs 225 days a year because of weather. Lets say they average 500 cars a day for those 235 days. Lets say $20 per car

that carwash generates $2.25 million dollars

For less pay, Most have no educational debt. They also see less patients, work less hours on an annual basis, have more vacation. Not to different when you compare most European jobs to their us counterparts.

People don't get this when they complain about management. On the other hand I've had managers tell me the >45 hours a week I require is too much

That would be a solid gig. Car washes are easy to manage just keep it maintained and working, keep it clean, and keep the soap tanks filled. I know people that own some around here and it’s pretty much a side gig for them and they rake in money

I wouldn’t set foot in one for that kind of money. It’s Black Friday at Walmart 365 days a year. The things that catches the fancy of folks never ceases to amaze.

This is a stupid comment. Perhaps proximity is the answer. Europe has an immigration crises as well from Africa.

What’s really stupid is not realizing that was a joke

I can see both sides. If I complain about 45 you won't think about 50.

Also, I hate time requirements. You should pay me hourly if my production is measured in hours worked and not productivity.

The average salary in Europe is much less in general. One of my exes friends in france was an engineer at Airbus barely cracking what would be about $50k here in the US.

It's a selling point for fhe restaurant industry. If you're in my restaurant for over 45 hours we are either very understaffed or you aren't bring efficient with your time

The average salary for a doctor working in the UK is approximately £76,000. NHS basic pay starts at £29,000 for a newly qualified doctor and goes all the way up to £114,000 for an experienced consultant.

1 £ = $ 1.25 currently

Why do you think all the English doctors come here to practice and back home all their Doctors are foreigners (foreign to Europe, Indians etc…).

My former boss was from Denmark. His wife was a doctor. She quit to become a pharmaceutical sales rep. She could make more and work less will less government interference as a sales rep.

I saw two Raptors and a H2 hummer and a full size suburban in Lake Como a few weeks back. I was shocked to see those cars in Italy.

When I worked at labor, I worked with this Belgian lady who said she made more there in one year than her mom did.

Her mom was a 30 year bureaucrat in the government.

I'd imagine the burnout factor is high.

If I worked there, I honestly think I'd enjoy cleaning the bathrooms the most just because its quieter.
