I was just in NYC last weekend. Family of 4 splitting one kids meal and one entree with an appetizer and 4 drinks was $80…this was at a place called Bills Burger and Bar.
Soft drinks alone were $5 a piece…every single place we ate.
The cheapest meal was a pizza place near Columbus circle where we split a 2 foot pizza (2 families of 4) and then 8 soft drinks was $64 all together. Pizza was $24 and drinks were $40.

I cant remember the last time I had a soft drink at a sit down restaurant. I either just drink water or get alcohol of some sort.
