Why Stephen. A blames TCU for Florida State CFP snub

Yeah let's be honest with ourselves, this was a big part of it, right or wrong be damned. Nobody wants to watch FSU get stomped by Michigan.

Of course thats part of it. Does the committee want to look stupid like they did last year? They sat through that brutal ACCCG like everyone else.

Welcome to “NCAA football” the sport where everything's made up and the points don't matter.

The whole TCU argument makes no sense in terms of the blowout in the championship game.

They upset Michigan in the playoffs. Completely different scenario here.

Is defense not roughly half the game? People pointing toward the ACC championship as a “dismal” performance… is it not possible for FSU to grind out a 17-14 win over Michigan?

What channel has exclusive rights to air the playoff committee announcement show?

What channel will be airing all of the playoff games?

What channel will have the exclusive rights to televise all SEC games beginning next season?

Doesn’t FSU bring in serious TV numbers?

Are all of you now claiming FSU isn't a big brand?

I find it hilarious that a lot of people on this board think all bowls NOT included in the NY6 are irrelevant but also want or support the same damn teams in the CFP every year

Might as well disband all college football teams except maybe 5-6 of them

This tells me no one on the committee grew up in the 90s… here I am thinking they’re as much of a blue blood of CFB as anyone

I’ve heard that war chant so much it’s burned in my head

Things get solved to some degree next year. The last decade + of committee-centric BCS and small playoff format finally met its match.

If you’re gonna go in with playoffs they should’ve started with the 12 team format years ago.

It’s not a playoff, it’s an invitational.

An old adage, “Not the best team, but the team that is playing best”. The committee’s job is to pick the best four teams TODAY. They got it right.

Yes, quietly but quite well stated.

Why can’t the committee have an official press conference where journalists representing each conference get to ask the tough questions for their thought process on including/excluding teams.

If so, then maybe they may think twice of snubbing someone deserving ….

I say this because I would love to hear from them how Alabama’s miracle win against crappy Auburn was glossed over when they snubbed Florida State for barely beating a top 15 ranked team with their 3rd string qb.
