Gifts for all 12 days of Christmas. I can’t wait. Sadly you’ll also need all 8 days of Chanukah to scratch the surface of the terrible Jayden takes from this season.

They’ll want Nuss benched next year the second he shows inconsistency

Member that time JD5’s YPA was JJ9 level bad?

Posts like this are why tRant has the retarded rep that it has. Since JD5 has started airing it and doing QB things, not a single soul has asked for Nuss.

These kids are here to learn the sport and improve. The coaches get paid tons of money to assess who has the capacity to excel and then develop and play them. It is amazing how much JD improved his vision, anticipation and accuracy this year. A mock draft I saw this week has him as a top-10 pick. Even if he just goes first round it will be an awesome achievement by him and the coaches!

We fans will need to be patient next year as Nuss works on his accuracy. Trust the coaches and just root for whomever runs out there to play.

The same folks that were calling for Nuss to start this past season will be calling for his backup over him next season. I’m already prepared for the nonsense.
Many are already tossing Nuss aside for someone in the portal.

Let’s be honest, if Nuss has a season similar to JD5 in 22… all of you calling out “Nuss buss” fans will be making post “is this what y’all wanted”, “y’all wanted this over JD5”.

JD5 struggled in 22 and would not push the ball downfield. How many times did we see BK telling him to throw it “it’s 1 on 1”. He limited the offense, the Criticism was warranted and after FSU, it looked the same.

Dude put in the work and is a completely different player from last year. Some of y’all need to stop acting like you knew this change in his play was coming.

Nice try at revising history. JD5 had over 400 yards and 4 TD’s against Moo State. Certainly “QB things”. There were plenty of idiots begging for Nuss since that game.

You’re kidding yourself if you don’t think Nuss would have been a heisman finalist.

You definitely took the bait with this comment.

And the rantards on here dont want to admit they did it either. Some prominent posters making up lies to backtrack.

You’re forgetting how frustrating it was at times. Didn’t Boutte even want Nuss? Why do

He did hold the ball too long at times and didn't want to let it fly downfield too much, but using Boutte is not a good example because Boutte had a lot of drops and simply wasn't very good last year.

I mean, LSU Beat Bama in Tiger Stadium for the first time in 13 years and won the West, so Daniels was still pretty damn good even last year. He just turned into one of the best QBs I've ever seen this year with his production.

bullshite. Did you watch the games??? Read any articles?

To several on here this potential was OBVIOUS, and it was widely discussed that JDaniels play in 2022, especially against Florida etc, showed what he could do something special this year. No different than Joey B finishing his first year with 7tds v Tx Am and 4tds in the bowl game.

Just admit youre ignorant and shut the frick up.

You mean the same Boutte that dropped god knows how many balls in his hands last year? Boutte was a one year wonder that did nothing after he got hurt. He can’t even break through the trash WR room in New England.

To be fair, JD5 made DRAMATIC improvements in throwing in the course of about 7 days. The FSU outing was very discouraging and looked just like 2022. From Grambling on, he became superman. Anyone calling for Nuss after Grambling is dumb. JD5 is a legend.

To be fair, I was calling y’all dumb wanting to bench JD last year. Many of us saw something special in him back then. Many of you just wanted the backup. I really wish the scoreboard wasn’t deleted. There are some amazing takes that Chicken has removed from history.

lol nah man, never seen one.

Potential

That was everyone’s gripe bc the offense could be explosive, I’m not sure anyone denied that!

Like I said, he put in the work and made that change to be better on deep ball and actually throw it!! By not doing so in 22 he limited the offense. Did you watch the games in 22? Did his hesitation or lack of confidence not limit the offense?

No one saw him coming close to this or the offense being #1 in most categories. Get out of here with your obvious it would happen BS.
