To be fair, JD5 made DRAMATIC improvements in throwing in the course of about 7 days. The FSU outing was very discouraging and looked just like 2022. From Grambling on, he became superman.
Anyone calling for Nuss after Grambling is dumb. JD5 is a legend.

I was almost banished for saying that Jayden Daniels was the best player in the country after the Miss State game.

He hit receivers in the hands in that FSU game. If our guys catch the ball, and/or we have any kind of running attack that game we score twice in the first quarter and it’s a different game.

We have a very loud minority of fans that ALWAYS believe the backup is better than the starter. The same folks that were calling for Nuss to start this past season will be calling for his backup over him next season. I’m already prepared for the nonsense.

yep the worst part this time he looked bad in the second half of the game and alot of people like myself questioned had he gotten over holding the ball instead of trusting his arm. After that game if anyone questioned Jayden and what he meant to this offense was just stupid. Without Jayden this year we win four games tops.

You’re comparing Heisman JD to 2022 JD though. This isn’t the “I told you so” moment you think it is. Last year JD missed open receivers, played too timid, didn’t stretch the field and would tuck and run when his first read was covered last year. You’re forgetting how frustrating it was at times. Didn’t Boutte even want Nuss? Why do you think that is?

To be fair….anyone discrediting Daniels after the first game of the season vs a clearly talented FSU team…..and a clearly terrible LSU defense…is the worst kind of LSU fan.
