I would definitely take it based on what you posted:
- you are no closer to the job you want after 2 years on the road you are on
- this one has potential for that job, or a lot a minimum trains you for it.
Even if after 6 months you get let go (although I would work like hell to make sure that doesn’t happen), you will have new things to put on your CV that would likely open new doors.
