He didn’t just do things that are legal now. The man paid money from his families bank account to a former players ex girlfriend. That is not legal now.

Why did he have to pay this ex-girlfriend? What reason was she extorting him? Oh yeah, she claimed she would go public with the knowledge that her former boyfriend got paid to play basketball…. which is now legal (sort of, but everyone works around the rule).

I don’t expect lsu to ever be top of the conference in hoops but middle of the pack consistent nit ncaa team is not too much to ask for
With the portal there is no reason not to be competitive immediately and it’s not like lsu suffered any sanctions to hurt them in the present

Look in the mirror when you say that.
The Athletic Director is in charge of all programs.
They hired Johnson, Jones, Mac, as well as Wade.
Take away the year Johnson played with Brady's players, and Wade won more games and as many SEC Championships as the others combined.
"Profound Dumbass" seems a more appropriate title for the LSU Athletic Administrators.
It appears McNeese will win more games this year, Wade's first season, than Mac will in his first two seasons. Maybe three.

Shouldn’t Wade have been permanently banned like Donnie Tyndall if you were correct? Curious that Wade only received a minor 10-game suspension and some mild recruiting restrictions after the NCAA hearing.

Are you even slightly aware of what's been going on in Tuscaloosa for the last 3 years? They are building a program because they hired a coach with energy, basketball acumen, and recruiting skill....
Sound familiar.
We have a rich tradition of players and success, it shouldn't be hard to sustain continued success here. Wade was a good coach and he's gone now, that is disappointing. Lets not act like MM is the answer, we can do better.

McMahon is on pace to have half the SEC wins in his first 2 years combined that Wade had in his first year after taking over a dismal 2 win team.
You can say you dont like Will Wade all you want, that's your opinion, but don't come in here with stupid shite like he's a middle of the road coach when he has clearly proven he is not.
