I'm getting ready to retire, hopefully at 60 and you definitely think about the end more as you get older.
My older brother died at 60, and both my parents at 64, but I tell myself they were all heavy smokers and that was the main cause, and I don't smoke. Other than the 18 years of living with chain smokers, which I keep waiting to come back and haunt me.

I'm 43 and 2 of my grandparents made it to 97, my mom's mother died at 85(but she smoked for 60 years) and I still have a grandfather still living at 95... Hopefully I'll make it that long..

Sometimes I hope I don’t. I’m 55. What I do know is first sign of dementia or a life threatening illness, I’m outta here. I won’t live the last of life suffering or in diapers. Nobody should.

I saw it a few months ago. It was decent. I thought Adam Driver did a pretty good job.

My dad dropped dead in front of me and my 2 younger sisters when he was 5 days past making 35 and 5 days before my 9th birthday.

One of my main goals in life was to at least live past 35 and early this month I turned 71.

Never in my life did I think I'd see this age, especially since both my younger sisters are now gone, having both died in their early and mid 60's.

Life's kind of funny that way I guess and I don't mind getting older------------as long as I can still take care of myself. If someday I can't, I'd rather be dead.

I've got 41 years left till 65 but time does seem to be moving quickly which is scary.

My hair is starting to thin as well which is scary haha.

My parents had me when they were my age which puts it into perspective.

Doubtful. I'm 56 and internalize all of my stress- in a unhealthy disproportionate way. I can see dropping dead around 62-65'ish. It's been a pretty good ride though...

Try 54. Its the sort of the same thing mentally, only your body joins the party physically.

Seeing how I’m 63 now, I damn sure hope I see 65. Being serious, though, barring cancer, both sides of my family are making it to their upper 80’s or more. So if my mom and aunts/uncles on both sides are any indication, I think/hope I’ll make it to 87 or longer (lost my mom 2 years ago at 87).

nearly 80% of Americans born in 1958 are still alive in December of 2023 and are mostly 65 years old (the ones born between now and 12/31 are only 64). That number grows slightly for all Americans born after 1958 who will live to see 65 except for those born around 2019 - 2021 and that number dropped very slightly.

I'll be 50 next year and still hit the gym 3 days a week. 5'11" 180. I'm fine. Looking forward to the colon mowdown next August.
