Its not like Bagram was the only base we had in the middle east. We have plenty of other bases spread around Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, and the UAE. And those bases are in countries with major seaports and/or that share a border with allies. No need to work out deals with untrustworthy partners like Pakistan to cross their territory to bring in supplies.

Just don't really see the point in negotiating with terrorists in Afghanistan when we have multiple other bases in the region to respond from if Iran or any other bad actors in the region got too frisky.
