Trump says he is going to get Bagram Air Base back in a "Trade Deal"

I'd really like some explanation on this. So we are going to get Bagram back in a "Trade Deal" I guess with the Taliban. China is going to leave. We are going to of course have to fix it back up, put significant troops there to secure and staff it, and we will have to cut a deal (likely with Pakistan) to get supplies into it since it is in the middle of a landlocked country in Central Asia.
I mean Don Rumsfeld would be proud, this is some hardcore Neocon shite. I mean this is untold billions, all kinds of crooked deals, and putting us right in the middle of the most dangerous part of the world with no easy way to protect our troops. What could go wrong?

You don’t understand the concept of the importance of having an air base in that particular neck of the woods? Do you understand the significance of your boy Biden abandoning it to the Taliban (and in essence the Chinese)?
**ETA. I do acknowledge the snarky tone of my response and that there’s a better way. So leaving out the snark on my part, that would simply be my response……that Trump is very interested in reacquiring the base because he probably ponders the importance of it and the implications of not having it. And I suppose he is brainstorming some ways to go about it.

Look at a map and explain to me how we can operate and supply a base outside of Kabul without a massive military commitment back into Afghanistan and cutting deals with terrible and untrustworthy folks. I assume that will be Pakistan but the other options are Russia and one of the Stans to the North or Iran. Or China of course. There is just nothing friendly anywhere around there. India is probably the friendliest country but there is no freaking way we can make a deal with India to move troops and supplies through Pakistan.

Well, we’re not necessarily in disagreement about that, but I believe the most important aspect of Bagram in the current geopolitical climate is its proximity to China, and of course I imagine there’s further much better explanation as to existence and location of the base……in relation to the China aspect. As in there are various explanations that detail the scenario, seems like one may be that even beyond its proximity to China as a general matter, the base is in advantageous proximity to some particular industrial center or nuclear weapons complex or something like that.

Specifically that poster (generically description here) who somehow or another can have those two concepts exist in his mind simultaneously, promoting the idea that Trump’s the worst human being ever, as well as promoting the idea of giving him their vote if he is the Republican nominee. It’s so common that you can fairly generalize about it, that non-Trump OnlyFans believe/argue that Trump is the worst human being ever? Are you sure you’re not parodying yourself?
This touches on my point that Trumpers can’t handle criticism of Trump. Ronbots are critical of Trump for not being conservative enough, spending like a liberal and (for me, anyway) his shitty job on COVID response - and you are so sensitive about criticism of Trump, that it’s comes across to you like Ronbots are saying Trump is the worst human ever when all they’re saying is he is too liberal, spent too much and took the knee over COVID.
