Did we do the Gay Tor chomp last night? Always my favorite part when beating Florida.

There was definitely an intent to come in and intimidate LSU and take extra shots.

The precedent has been set during the Gump game.

And the refs did jack squat to protect the best player in the country. The SEC refs have made it clear that it is open season on Jayden Daniels.

Just like it was for Shaquille O'Neal in the day.

Some real thuggish behavior

All teams talk, but they definitely dialed it up to try and bait us into shite. If anything, I would say it backfired. That was the most aggressive our defense has played since week one.

It seemed like a desperate ploy to keep a team on the verge of checking out motivated.

I think Fla was worse but you are correct in that 4 and 90 had several times where they could have been better.

I enjoyed it. Been waiting for some aggressiveness/chippiness from this team all year. We have lost the swagger since Burrow.

The thing that bothered me was the referee allowed two Florida players to stand deep behind the LSU bench and talk crap; the referee seemed intimidated. Throw a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Those comments Billy made during the game and the way he said them made it seem pretty clear that this was part of the game plan and it did get a response. But it didn’t seem to get in our guys’ heads the way he wanted, just fired them up. If he thought he’d get a bunch of unsportsmanlike calls in his favor …in Tiger Stadium, he was pretty foolish.

..and how long has this been called, “being chippy”? So cringey. The announcers couldn’t stop saying it.

Would love for our team to throw some fricking hay makers and show chest.

They fought back all game. They did not take it. Even BK was on the refs as a lot. I am sure a lot was not on the TV. I was amazed the Refs let it go as long as it did.

Perkins got in a couple fights. I think Guillory got into one. And there were some I could not tell who was involved.

A lot of after the whistle scuffles.

When we went up 52-35 the whole student section and most of the stadium that was left chomped it out.

Do you have examples of something dirty they did beside talking shite?

Their DL basically DDTd our guy after play was over. Picked him up and slung him over his back. No call.

JD was hit at least twice on sidelines. No call

JD dang near got in a fight on FL sidelines. No call.

Coach and team out on field acting an arse. No sideline warning. No call.

The fact that they never even got a fricking sideline warning with coaches out on the field talking shite after plays was really something. The officials came close to losing control of that game and having a real fight break out.

They had hoped to throw Daniels’ shoe, but they couldn’t catch him.

After one of the earlier LSU extra points, Speights was walking towards the sidelines & immediately spun around & shoved a Gator, obviously in response to something said. Ref walked up to both & both players walked away yapping at each other. LOTS of that went on all night. That this has only happened during the Gator game & no others is not a coincidence. But Perkins has come close to taunting all season long. This why I enjoyed the Shoe Game so much.

Don't recall an entire offensive unit taunting the student section after a TD until last night.

Students are just different now - I didn't see a single object thrown at them when that happened either.
