You know its bad when Justin Fields is making fun of you

quote:

Justin Fields has been active on the sideline in the Bears' last four games as he continues to heal his right thumb.

The broadcast panned to Fields about halfway through the fourth quarter of Thursday's game at Soldier Field, and fans are convinced the cameras caught the injured quarter throwing shade at Panthers rookie QB Bryce Young.

It looked like Justin Fields said "Roll Tide" after a sloppy sequence from Young, who played at the University of Alabama, late in the game.

It’s probably too early to call him a bust but I think it’s ok to say the panthers fricked up bigly for paying what they did for a pretty flawed prospect. None of those guys were really can’t miss prospects so the all in move just seemed to come from an overly aggressive owner

LSU defense exposed his weaknesses when it comes to handling pressure. It's easy to look elite with a 5* across the board o line and elite receivers

Look everyone, it’s guy that didn’t watch any alabama games last year.

Yeah, Bama had nothing on offense last year outside of Young and Gibbs.

Bryce Young was the only reason they stayed in that game. He covered up a whole lot of warts on that Alabama team last year. This play, in particular, was ridiculous

Now I'm sad that we used to get a pass rush.

I’m an LSU fan but the Bryce young hate is out of control. They showed a graphic last night and his rookie season stacks up exactly along the likes of TLaw and Burrow. Judging a rookie QB on an awful team with no supporting cast is not a fair sample. He’s going to be a good NFL QB but it certainly doesn’t help their top 5 pick is going to go to Chicago

If your the Panther GM-
when the Bears take Caleb Williams with the first pick, they offer you Justin Fields and DJ Moore for Bryce Young would you take it?

Just like his old hc Satan saw, the NFL is a level field talent wise. He isn't protected by blue chips vs 3*s and getting bailed out by his 5* freak receivers vs 3* DBs

NFL coaching winners are usually “protected” by great QB’s. See Belichick’s record with and without Brady.

No, Justin fields is not a franchise QB but in that situation why would the bears draft Caleb and then trade for another QB? The Bears look pretty smart for kicking the can down the road last year and picking up an early extra 1st. Caleb, Maye, and Jayden Daniels will all be good NFL QBs and they will likely have their pick of the litter because of Carolina

The epitome of a system QB. Has no intangibles and strong points. Just put him with great players at every position and he’ll win you a bunch of games and a hiesman

Derek Henry and Devonte Smith are the two best Bama players I’ve seen.

Was not impressed with Tua or any Bama QB in recent memory

His rookie season stats are much worse than Burrow’s full-year numbers.
