new mayor will be a familiar face. It will be the same one we have had for 2 terms already.

I know T.J. Morse. That is one super cop. Had taken bullets in line of duty, was partner with a bad -arse K9…. And he is a straight shooter…., man, he hasn’t got a chance but what a great job he would do

I have no idea…. But knowing him, my guess is he believes he can overhaul things and get thing’s running right.

Things will never get running right in that town. It’s gone. It’s lost. Used to be a great town to grow up in and around. It’s fricked. We all know why.

I'll come back and eat crow if I have too

But I'm betting most of you hating on Sharon Douglas have had very little or no interaction with her.

I watched some of the hearings. Logged in expecting to get a good laugh or be disappointed, but I was very pleasantly surprised with Morse. He was great.

The rumor mill swears it’s been Sharon Douglas’ to lose since Paul announced his retirement. No idea how she rose to the top, but I think you’ll see another mass exodus of BRPD over the next year.

The Sadvocate DEMANDS Myron Daniels gets the job. Myron is the only candidate that will continue to supply us with the kind of content vital for our survival.

You can't make shite like this up

SWB and or moron Olympic winners board will eventually be the demise of the BRPD and the beginning of a movement for the sheriff the patrol the whole parish.

If the metro council is suppose to help eliminate duplication of services. Then BRFD and BRPD is a huge joke that are duplication of services.

BRFD can be eliminated along with fire districts and have one parish dept.
BR, is all over the place especially in the Southern part of the parish. Having 1 dept eliminates having service issues.

BRPD, at a time you have a shortage of officers, less funding as you have to pay into a retirement fund, and the services are poor. The parish just needs a metro sheriff elected by the people. Have same pile of money going toward less administrators and have money for more deputy’s on the street.

Bad part less satire for the Sadvocate.

TJ would be a great pick which is why I’m sure he won’t be picked.

Thomas Glover is a member of the recently fired police Chief fraternity

Dude doesn’t make it 10 months as chief in Lafayette before getting fired, loses his civil service appeal over the termination, blames the union for his termination, and has a current federal lawsuit filed against the city of Lafayette claiming he was fired because he is black.

And the dude makes the top 5

He is my dark horse
