We lost a ton of wins to the draft and graduation.

We got a returning weekend guy who came on big at back end, a catcher and a 3rd baseman. Im not sure how you count Jones but okay Jones is back and had a good half of a season. We have 1 solid guy(hopefully) for weekends and 6/7 holes in the field. None of what we had except Jones who came off the bench were game changers.

Can this team realistically go to a regional? We got basically 6/7 spots to fill and 2 weekend guys to fill.

This team will be deeper than last year's but not quite as strong at the top. Bullpen should be filthy. And Cam Johnson is the highest rated prospect to ever make it to campus.

This team (if it remains healthy) is net, net stronger than last year's team. It doesn't have the players at the top end maybe, but in toto it is stronger.

Our pitching may well be the biggest beast we have seen in a long, long time. We have guys back who were role players that will step up bigly. I am expecting a return to Omaha.

They will be good. Will be a completely different team with completely different strengths and weaknesses.

The talent and coaching are top notch. Should host regional and hopefully super

Let JJ get his players in there before you crucify the guy.

If last year taught me anything, it's that Jay knows what he's doing. He knew we were losing a lot from that team, and has worked his arse off to find the right guys for this year. So I think we'll be OK.

You are either trolling or an idiot or both.
LSU through most of the regular season had pitching and defensive issues with everyone but Skenes but still managed to finish good enough for a top 8 seed. This year other than a Skenes type pitcher, this pitching staff has a good chance of being better overall. Defense will probably be similar to last year’s group that struggled at times. Offense will probably drop off some initially, but with the transfers coming in, and hitting being Jay’s coaching strength it probably won’t stay down long. Baseball is very unpredictable, but I could easily see this team back in Omaha.

I think maybe we found the random, in-game, schizo down voter.
