I want to buy a lot so I can build a home. Did I do it write?

Ironic considering how many technology-based writing aides are available. Hell, even typing the work "alot" in TD produces a red squiggly.
Part of my job requires reading technician notes. These are blue collar dudes mostly under the age of 40. Primarily high school grads with a few dropouts and a little college. Their notes are typed via iPhone/iPad. It sometimes feels like I'm reading another language.

Malik "Nabors" makes me crazy for some reason.
He's the best wide receiver in the country. It should be easy to get right as much as he's talked about.

Also amazing how many people don't proof read before posting.

Misuse of number/amount should be a criminal offense.
The number of people who get it right is painfully sad.
I'm happy to be part of an elite group.

Same! Sometimes I cringe reading RFIs from the guys in the field. It’s kind of scary that they can’t compose a complete sentence but they’re out there building chemical plants and refineries.
Some others that get me are how many people don’t know the difference between are and our and want and won’t

You could add "a part/apart" to this as well.
Example, "I am so happy to be apart of this organization" when really they mean a part of.
Bottom line, people are stupid.

The Alot is Better Than You at Everything
If youve never heard of or read any of Allie Brosh's blogs/books, you are missing out.
She is HILARIOUS.

English is a stupid language.
stream = streamed
dream = dreamt (not dreamed)
house = houses
mouse = mice (not mouses)

Bet it’s a lot of the same genius baws who drive 95 up your butt. I don’t want to be a part of that Mensa club.

I've noticed a ton of people struggle with to/too/two, too.

God bless you. You must be a saint. I don't think I could do this.

No, it's the perfect blend of Romance language influences with Germanic influences. The best of both worlds.

But it still can’t tell that you mean “word” and not “work.”

I have three people at work who say "Pacifically" instead of "specifically"
Posted on 10/26/23 at 2:23 pm to Shexter
Does "hoe" mean "how? because you confused me.
Posted on 10/26/23 at 2:28 pm to FreeState
Irregardlessly, I pacifically type alot as oneword.
