I have said that our dollars are worth about 75% of what they were worth in January 2021. And there are posters who absolutely lose their minds when I say it.

Not as an amazing as the fact that not a single on you progressive morons has even the slightest understanding of basic economics.

But I saved $.16 on this:

If that doesn't whet your appetite I don't know what will.

NOTHING is ever FREE - we're picking up the enormous tab for his Depends and wipes, and unfortunately, will be until he passes on...

I go to Walmart for my Equate nasal spray.. Before covid it was $1.88 then during covid it went up to $2.22... About 3 months ago it went up to $3.44... It is sold out a lot... So I think part of the drastic price hike is greed.

Walmart's prices were cheaper across the board but not anymore...

You need both a history and an economics lesson. US policy greatly affects the rest of the world. The stock market crash of 1929 kicked off the Great Depression, and in turn, a global depression.

This administration does not want what is good for you. It is actively working against your interests.

See driving up your cost of living by destroying U.S. energy; see throwing open our borders and giving illegals your money; see creating a Ministry of Truth to police your wrongthink and wrongspeech; see monitoring your bank transactions over $600;see prosecuting and gagging political opponents.

No other way for me to say that politely. We do not have a global currency. Inflation is purely a result of governmental monetary policy

I mean you're calling the guy an idiot and 'economically illiterate' but Biden's spending bills are fiscal policy, not monetary policy.

Monetary policy refers to Central Banking policy which Biden doesn't control.

Fiscal policy refers to government spending.

Anybody who isn't economically illiterate wouldn't use the terms interchangeably. They refer to different things - I normally wouldn't correct someone on it but most people aren't throwing around terms like 'economically illiterate'.

But if you are actually arguing it is monetary policy i.e. Central Banking QE causing inflation, I don't think you'd find a financial professional who disagrees there.
