Found a receipt in a jacket pocket i guess i havent worn since 2020. 5 items I got then and now.

Then:

Bisquick 5.94
Toilet paper 17.99
Paper towels 18.99
AA batteries 17.49
Diaper wipes 20.79

Now:

Bisquick 8.89
Toilet paper 21.99
Paper towels.23.99
Aa batteries 25.49
Diaper wipes 25.48

Bidenomics is working exactly the way they want it to. Squeeze the middle class to the poor house.

What policies in the inflation reduction act worked?

Were you one of the gullible ones that thought, “that sounds great, I’m glad I voted for this guy”?

You are economically illiterate. No other way for me to say that politely. We do not have a global currency. Inflation is purely a result of governmental monetary policy. Biden decided to pump over 4 trillion into the economy in his first 2 years of office when everyone warned him that we would get inflation.

And just like that Leto won’t be back in this thread. Facts tend to always scare them off

Total: 81.20

Now:

Bisquick 8.89
Toilet paper 21.99
Paper towels.23.99
Aa batteries 25.49
Diaper wipes 25.48

Total: 105.84

I cobbled together the differences so people could see how much of a percentage the increase is thus far.

Difference:

Bisquick 49.7%
Toilet paper 22.2%
Paper towels 26.3%
AA batteries 45.7%
Diaper wipes 22.6%

Total increase 30.3%

So if we divide that by 3 years it's (VERY loosely) an average of 10.1% inflation per year.

Thanks, Joe.

30.3% increase in 3 years. Kind of makes that great big wage increase that you got look a little anemic doesn't it?
