No. Cruise was at the 2007 LSU-Fla game. They said it was his 1st time he had attended a college football game.

For 2010s I would go with 2010 Bama. Stadium was rocking, 2:30 CBS and we defeat a bitter rival who was the defending national champion, and who had beaten us the two years prior in two close, controversial games. Plus, LSU had a really good team, probably the best LSU team never to win a national championship from a talent perspective.

The 2012 Bama game was epic, but unfortunately we lost. Maybe the biggest "what if" game of this century for us.

I don't look back fondly at 2014. That was the least talented team of the Miles era and we were lucky to beat Ole Miss and play Bama close. Anthony Jennings was our QB1, yikes.

Wait, wait!! I need someone to vouch for this!:

My dad had a picture of himself dressed up like the Florida State mascot, full Native American, head dress, etc… he said there was a LSU football game (had to be early 80s) where him and his buddy, who was the Mike the Tiger mascot at the time, choreographed this fight for the fans during the game where Mike wrestled his spear away and broke it. My dad would always end the story saying it was the scariest night of his life because he was pelted by oranges by all the fans, because they thought he was the real FSU mascot—and LSU won to earn a big to the orange bowl.

Can anyone vouch for this?! This has to be the same game y’all are referencing.

70's........The 17-16 game. (I was there)
80's........The Earthquake game. (I was there)
90's........The 28-21 game. (I was there)
2000's.....The Skylar Green TD reception against Georgia game. (I was there)
2010's........The 3rd and Chavis/Yeldon game. We lost, so let's go with the 50-7 and bye to Burreaux game. (I was there for both)
2020's........The Taylor TD in OT game. (I was not there)

Very few on here have the LSU History that I do. (From a Fan, Participant and Alumnus perspective)

For me personally, 07 Auburn, Flynn to Byrd was the best I've ever seen Tiger Stadium. We were losing most of the game and they were playing dirty AF. When we scored with .02 left, that crowd lit up like a firecracker.

The 1986 Notre Dame game- Lou Holtzs first year- Arnspargers last year- we were playing for the perceived right to go to the Sugar bowl. Great goal line stand in the third. The crowd was amazing! This is a very under rated game.

I loved that game! LSU dominated the game statistically but could never gain any separation. Tim Brown of The Irish had a 100 yard KO return on their first possession.

I remember the Tigers had a chance to go up 28-13 late in the game, but Hodson threw an ill-advised INT. But Hodson redeemed himself with about a minute left, when with the Tigers up only 21-19 and in the shadow of their own goalpost, he threaded a remarkable game-ending completed pass on 3rd and long to Wendell Davis

Yep, I was in the SS that game. Felt like I poured my heart and soul into that game.

2001 Auburn rescheduled to the last game of the year because of 9/11 and lsu claims first trip to Atlanta vs lsu’s all time most hated auburn coach. Atmosphere was unbelievable.

I remember that. It was the 1982 Florida State game. I was in the student section and it happened right in front of me. Everyone thought it was the real Seminole mascot taunting the fans and we went wild when Mike beat the crap out of him. Check YouTube. It seems that I have seen videos of this.

Well, I watched Jimmy play every game as a Bastrop Ram, so I remember his career from then through the LSU years. I even followed in his footsteps as the Bastrop quarterback a few years later, albeit without the same talent.

I remember you as a young athlete. Don’t remember football but you were a heck of a young baseball player!! Seems like I helped you learn about not throwing a bat after a hit!!

Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Still in Bastrop?
