1972 (51 years ago tomorrow) was another good one. Both were ranked in the Top-10 and LSU won 35-7.

‘96 was also a great game.
Two pick sixes by the same DB but one of them was a “pick 2” on a conversion to seal the game.
I believe that was also the one that featured a fire before kickoff.

Beating Auburn back to back really solidified us as SEC contenders.

The nostalgia is real. I was seven years old and many games weren’t nationally televised back then, but I can remember how excited I was seeing the commercials for that game throughout the week. A ranked LSU team playing a ranked Auburn on ESPN. Wow!
With Ron Franklin no less…

Very personal for me. Brought my 7- yr old son to the Earthquake game. We were sitting in the North end zone. Cheered the whole game. The climax happened right in front of us. I picked him up so he could see. When Fuller caught the td, I looked at him and he was looking up to the sky with both arms extended. I knew that he was a Tiger for life!

Tchefunte Tiger- I have a photo of Ronnie Estay in a muddy uniform tackling Pat Sullivan on my man cabe wall. I distinctly remember listening to John Fergurson call that game on WWL radio. Good memory.

Watching the earthquake game as I was at Alabama to see Ole Miss beat Bama then watched with bama fans.

In person the 2018 game LSU won at Auburn but it was so damn hot everyone that went to bathroom etc grabbed as much bottled water as they could and gave it out o everyone who wanted one. Auburn Tigers and LSU Tigers worked together so none of us died of heat exhaustion. I bet I bought 40 waters. It was like 102 in our section

I’d say the earthquake Game, but the 2001 one game stands out only because my sister between 3rd and 4th quarters spilled all our booze on the fans below us. There was a mob forming and rightly so. Also watched Howard throw pick 6 after pick 6. But I’m trying to suppress those memories.

I’m gonna guess 13 or 14, it rained it’s arse off, hill acted a fool, close to 200 yards. Rained so much I felt like I jumped in a pool with my clothes, but didn’t miss any of the game going to the latrine.
