I thought it was a swag move and that it would fire us up. By the second quarter I thought it was just another indicator that the wheels were about to completely come off.

No i wasn't. I knew they would get it also. I just dont know why they didn't go for 2 every time. They probably would have won the game if they had.

They figured it was automatic and it was.

Fortunately the game is 60 minutes.

I wasn’t pissed. I thought it was dumb. Why chase points when you don’t need to but hey if that was what they wanted to do , go for it

I was surprised teams weren't doing it already.

Actually, my head was hurting from constantly shaking it side to side in disgust with our defensive play. It was a bit embarassing to watch Mizzou march down the field at will.

+1. Let's not let the other team have a shot at victory when we have the ball and the chance to put the game away.
I know Daniels strip fumble was the issue on their last drive but just get a 1st down! Game over!

It made me really mad at Drinkowitz (sp?). What an arrogant arse!

I have never seen that done once on an opening possession.

I was kinda hoping we’d do the same thing on our TD right after that.
no. Chasing points early in the game is silly.

I was pissed. Missouri was telling us that they felt like they could do anything against us. And with all the bad calls against us and the obvious personal foul in the end zone, it made the victory all the more special.

Going for two was an obvious statement that they knew it was going to be a shootout and they wanted to try and get the edge on LSU. Simple as that, they weren't being disrespectful or any of the silliness yall are saying. It simply was a case of if it comes down to the end of the game and LSU was driving to tie, etc it would force them to also go for two. Also if they didn't get it no big deal, LSU's defense has been poor and they had a good shot the next time to make it and be as if they kicked two extra points. Yall get into yalls emotions too much

Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't go for 2 more. This is the worst defense LSU has had since 2000. I hope they can start to develop a consistent pass rush and force a few turnovers a game but they are just not good.

You do everything you can do within the rules to win the game, PERIOD. It's LSU'S job to stop that play.

This isn’t the YMCA. It’s completely fair to go for 2 whenever you want, it’s the defense’s responsibility to stop it.

I wasn't mad. I felt like Steve Spurrier when we pulled off the fake field goal in 2007. I just shook my head and laughed. As Spurrier said at the time, "they executed it perfectly".

That's who Drinkwitz is trying to pattern himself after. He thinks he's clever and funny.

He's really just a fricking dork and a shitty coach.
