I think the reasons we've seen no large scale response so far are:
1.) US urging restraint; and
2.) Two-thousand (2,000) plus hostages taken per their defense force, per the PT, per a disclose dot tv tweeet

Also...
While I am not an expert, the other side of this coin is there is some factions/theological thinking in Islamic circles that view Israel as a form of what we might characterize as the anti-christ and the destruction of Israel is a significant event that ushers in some form of their version of an endtime rise of Islam ..
This another part of the problem western countries do not talk about.

We will eventually be drawn into this conflict. I believe we should 100% destroy Hamas. Now is the time gents!!!!

the money to Eye Ran, which was frozen assets, not tax payer monies, was for a prisoner exchange, no? why were they arrested? probably spies...fail on our part
it's quite ironic (pause) to say we caused this conflict financially, and then in the same breath say let's get involved...we all know who profits from that, now, don't we?
