That doesn't make you immune from the Flu and what's the downside of getting the vaccine?

Well, you are always incurring the risk from the vaccination (however low) and sometimes they "guess" wrong on the seasonal vaccine and you only get 10%/20% protection (or less).

I don’t give a flying frick if all you 20 year old mfers get it or not. I didn’t get it or even see a doctor ever when I was in my 20s. But guess what mfer, there are some of us that have been on this site when you were in diapers. Some of us are in our 50s and 60s and 70s. And guess what all the great natural immunity you have will fade as you get older. It’s called getting old

I'll be 60 in January and have never had the flu or Coorvids 19. Some of us just hit the jackpot I guess.

Friend,

I received my flu shot at Winn Dixie two weeks ago and received a $10 gift card in the process, which was used on three boxes of crackers for cheese. They did not have the Covid booster, for which I may go to Walgreens today. This year is around the 20th year in a row that I have received a flu shot, and I give thanks to God every time I get the shot, for all the hard work so many scientists have put into making these life saving vaccines. They are true gifts.

It grieves me to read you are suffering, and I will add your name to the prayer list this evening tide. May your symptoms improve quickly.

Yours,

I was never sick until I had kids. If you have complete antibodies against the flu and covid that’s some real luck, Do you get colds?

I have only had the flu twice before this

I was doing good.

And then my infant son had covid. And shoved his hand into his mouth and then into mine.

I've been exposed thousands of times... But that one was successful

I'm starting my 4th week of dealing with after effects of having COVID. My entire family got it at the same time, but for me, I went through two weeks of being extremely foggy headed confusion, forgetfulness, balance issues and severe fatigue. This week has been better, but by this time of day, I'm done. The mental fatigue and physical fatigue sets in and I have to stop working. It's very frustrating.

Well, that and being outdoors absorbing vitamin D are the best ways to boost one's immune system and that's the best way to fend off viruses.

Wait, that’s just the opposite of what the government told you to do with Covid. Wonder why?

Quit using all that sanitizer. I haven't had a flu shot in probably 25 years. I take Zinc, Quercetin, D3+K2, C, Omega 3 Oil, Multivitamin, Tumeric everyday and rarely have the sniffles. My wife (no pics) is in cardiac health care at a hospital and around covid (common cold) patients weekly. She brought that sheet home in January 2021 and gave me the funk. Hell, I drank beer and watched football for the 3-4 days I had it. Flu Shmoo...

Are we calling it the flu this year or Covid? I just need to know how to prepare.

Edit: I see a number of people have brought up basically the same point.
