When should this be used? Can it be used now in Baton Rouge?

It can be used now, but with all of this prolonged heat you can probably wait another 2-3 weeks.

Can someone answer this: Would putting it down now affect turf grass for the rest of the green/growing season?

Hey everyone, I went by to grab some in the Gonzales store. They didn’t have it marked down so you have to buy online and pick up at store. They do have plenty of it though.

I bought from The Gonzales store on Monday. Wasn’t marked down but it was the sale price $29 when she checked me out.

Unreal. I went through about a 30 minute ordeal to save $13. Classic.

Do all of you have crab grass, or does it also control other things? Just curious about the replies, as I have lots of bad things in my yard, but crabgrass is not one of them.

The active ingredient is 0.68% Prodiamine so it’s a pre M for a bunch of weeds. The bag calls it “Stonewall” but not sure what that is maybe it’s Lescos name for Prodiamine

Stonewall
Just marketing if I had to guess.
"Stonewall" as in a tough barrier for weeds. Much like "Barricade" pre emergent by The Andersons.

I bought some on sale at Lowes a few months back. I have used Specticle the past 2 pre-emergent treatments and so I have the option of spreading the Stonewall or the Specticle again.

1 - Any board opinions on what is better for a Louisiana winter? (in the past I would see poa annua , blue eyed grass, false garlic, henbit, clover..etc)

2- Any thoughts on timing this year since we still seem to be trending hot?
