I've been on cucumber jalapeno tequila mixed with zero sugar lemonade lately. Similar to a margarita without the triple sec.

It’s kind of trashy as it can be served as a drink or a shot and is mostly a younger person drink but it does taste good and is easy to make.

Washington Apple
Equal parts whisky, Apple pucker, and cranberry juice over ice.

Warning: bought a chick a round of these, brought her home (congrats to me) but it’s been 15 years and she still hasn’t left.

yeah I am not a fan of sweet drinks. An old fashioned is as sweet as I can go, and I use very little syrup on it. Maybe a teaspoonful

Lately:
Chartreuse (green preferably but yellow practically, if you can even find that) with limoncello and fresh lime.
Roughly 2:2:1 ratio, shake with ice.

These are some good suggestions. We aren’t into the sweet drinks either and there are some good ones we are going to try.

Thanks guys.

Any of you other alcoholics have any good drinks you like to enjoy with your spouse?

I came up with this riff on a spicy marg that is still the bestseller at a private club for celebs and megarich.

1.5 oz Bozal Cenizo Mezcal
.5 oz Compoveda Anejo
Squirt of fresno chile extract (cut them up and soak in Titos overnight)
1 oz Basil simple syrup
2 oz strawberry kiwi blend

Bourbon bramble is a good one. Tried for the first time the other night. It’s now on my list.

I've been loving a negroni in the evening lately. Super easy.

1 part Campari
1 part gin
1 part vermouth (dry or sweet to your liking)
Serve over ice. You can sub tequila for gin.

Limoncello Spritz (My husband hates this lol)

1 part Limoncello
2 parts prosecco
splash (or more) club soda or Topo Chico
Serve over ice.
Garnish with a slice of lemon.

Sorry but that isn’t a martini.
OK Boomer.

Sorry to offend crusaders for Vesper Martini purists but just make it and enjoy. It’s simple and I’m fairly certain you can pull it off.
