Anybody hear Jordy say on his show tonight that Nuss gives our playmakers better chances?

He did a show tonight recapping the game and when it came to quarterback play, he said he didn’t want to start a quarterback controversy lol but he said both played great but there was something different about Nuss in the small sample size that he saw. He said with Nuss there will be no rpo plays that he is looking to run and that our wrs are our biggest playmakers on the team and that Nuss probably would be the better option for the wrs to make plays. He also said with the way our defense will probably give up a lot of points this season, we will need to win in shootouts.

The defense is not getting physically beat. When they get beat they are out of position. DEs lose contain. DT rush past RBs. LBs bite on counters. The defense is lost. It’s a mental issue with the defense right now.

It’s refreshing to see someone speak the truth. The mental gymnastics that the BR media goes through to try and make it seem like JD is a good passer is ridiculous. The reality is that JD makes everyone around him worse

I don’t think Daniels is genuinely bad, just limited
I’d much prefer a pocket passer to wheel and deal to the plethora of playmakers LSU has
Daniels eats up a lot of offense with his style of play, and then limits us down field
They play the position so differently, it’s kind of a head scratcher they are on the same team
Daniels missed some easy passes vs FSU and that was simply enough for me. And i was riding with him last year and this offseason, assuming that aspect of his game would progress.
We just have too many good skill position guys to be limited to a flag football QB that’s gonna run a ton. We don’t need that. We have that all over the field.
His style of play is unnecessary with the talent we have
