Don’t go north of government street or north of campus

Go to Mike Anderson’s and get a dozen chargrilled and a broiled seafood platter.
End with the bread pudding.
Enjoy.

Hang out on Plank Rd around midnight. Good time for sure.

Get drunk and wander around downtown looking for crack and ho's.
On a serious note, hit up the LSU campus, Mike's cage, etc.

Go to Sullivan’s or Ruth Chris for steak or Parrain’s, Drago’s, Juban’s, or Mike Anderson for seafood. Then go to the Lauberge Casino and lose some money. Leave kinda pissed. You’ll feel like you live there.

First thing you're gonna want to do is get up with a guy named stanka.

Every one else can give you the tourist info. Even if you think you can hang with the best spicy food ever, Bring some cream with lidocaine bc the food, if you ain’t Creole or Cajun, is very polarizing. Best thing you ever tasted, but will give you a high five seconds after they leave you.
Oh , and Geaux Tigers…..Tomorrow night.

Don’t listen to the scary comments.
The ghetto here is all bark and no bite except their own. Just ignore them like all of us do and you’ll be fine.

Food options
Ruth’s Chris. The best of their locations, expensive
Louisiana Lagniappe for seafood. Delicious , expensive
Chow Yum Phat for Asian fusion type place, really good ramens, wings, appetizers , not expensive
Elsie’s , not expensive and very very good. Has something for everyone whether seafood , burger, homemade pot pies, and homemade dessert pies
Mike Andersons , expensive ish but some items are very good. Namely the broiled seafood platter. It’s amazing. Also very good fried shrimp and their entree called The Jason
If you want Italian, go to DiGulios and only DiGulios. Do not take any recommendations for Geno’s.
For the best chargrilled oysters, Drago’s seafood.
All of these places are easy to get to and are in areas of the city where Uber isn’t a problem.
For drinks, Beer Garden is nice but their pints can be ridiculous price. Nice establishment though.
Superior Mexican Grill - good margaritas and a good brunch. Good spot to go the morning of the game at the Highland location. Food is alright but more a pregame hang out or a Friday night drinks and music place.
Chimes on campus has a solid beer selection is a tradition type place.

Mike Anderson’s
I took a group there after the Tennessee game last year. They still say it was the highlight of the trip.
