If we’re not counting the vote, how else can we make sure the guy we want wins? It makes perfect sense to give them 5 billion for their “election” bc only Victoria Nuland knows best about who should run the Unkraine and what to do about the biolab

What is wrong with letting Zelensky do something that is allowed under Ukrainian law?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has demanded that taxpayers in the United States and European Union send the country even more aid if the West wishes for elections to be held next year.
That sounds like a quid pro quo, doesn't it?
I'm sure the establishment sycophants from the last impeachments will be stepping up shortly to point this out.

1. I’m not a Biden boot licker. I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020. I also have made sizable donations to Trump’s campaign last weekend.
2. Ukraine’s election laws were passed by democratic processes so not objecting to Zelensky decision to delay objections is supporting Ukrainian democracy. Lindsey Graham and the others trying to force or entice Ukraine into having elections during a war are not respecting Ukraine’s democracy.

The American left will see right through this guy's schtick in 40 or 50 years, I bet.

so long as the U.S. and EU bankroll the voting process.
They can’t even fund an election.
Sit back people… they are going to try to stick the US with the tab to rebuild that shithole.

It's like a heroin addiction. You just need more and more. Note to self: why would I even care whether or not they held elections?

Its funny people believe one of the most corrupt nations on earth (which is why they haven't been allowed in NATO) is doing things "democratically and free."
Especially after we fomented revolution and picked their leader in 2014.

This guy needs to assume room temperature...quickly.

Screw him, we need to leave him fend for himself at this point. We DO NOT have the money (trillions in debt) to be throwing his country billions of billions of dollars. Take care of America first dammit.

Dude ought to change his name to Stradivarius because he can play our govt so we'll.

This whole cluster frick is starting to remind me of the Iraq Iran war were we backed Saddam. 10 years later we end up back over there dealing with the monster we created.

The Ukrainian constitution and election laws were established long before 2014.

How weak does Russia look at this point that this "war" is still going on?
Russia could level all of Ukraine. Putin is trying to win a war while not turning all of the civilized world against him. Putin is also bleeding the US taxpayers out of hundreds of billions of dollars and he knows that's not popular with street level Americans. I think Putin believes a protracted war is in his favor, eventually Ukraine is going to run out of Ukrainian men who are willing to die and then the US/EU/NATO will have to make a very difficult decision.

He has the proof and has a lot of our politicians by the short hairs.
Sure, but think about what Russia is going to do to him and his once we throw off this yoke.

Well i mean its an honest answer. They are completely bankrupt. Not just for this year but for many decades to come. The west will own whatever is left of Ukraine.

lol
They just made those laws allowing them to suspend elections.
Edit: I misspoke, this is incorrect. See my post on next page.
