It’s one thing for a leftist protestor or young thug to allow themselves to be ruled by emotional thinking and quite another thing for someone like Powell to do so.
One has nothing to lose; there is little consequence or responsibility. The other has quite a lot to lose and the consequence is very costly.
The very frustrating aspect is one someone who should know and act better, like an Adam Schiff, engages (while not borne from emotion but rather cunningness) in scurrilous actions and statements and bears no real consequence. That is toxic to the nation and a serious problem. Perhaps not today or tomorrow but it will breed turmoil.

Sydney Powell represented her client. She did so when the entirety of Big Law refused to get involved - despite that they were the only legal organizations large enough to handle a massive scope of work in such a short period of time. Big Law fired their own client in a manner prejudicial to him, and then bragged about it in the New York Times.
Believe Sydney or not- but at least she had the stones to take on an unpopular client.
