Those seem to underestimating intensity considering it’s already a solid Cat 2 with 24 or so hours to go

Idalia is looking MUCH more organized in the last 30 minutes and that eye is almost fully wrapped.

Right where I live. As somebody else says not a lot of stuff there,,,But we are Camper and RV Fishing Camp country for a pile of folks.
Florida and Georgia both have a pile of them here.
Been watching folks pull RV's and Boats out all day.
Gonna be a shite ton of tore up Camps by tomorrow.
Sad for them folks , most of them bring their familys here for vacation , Scalloping and Fishing and just family Good times.
I'm watching it close and just might bail about 5 am.
Truck is already packed.

noaa recon approaching the eye from the nw, should have dropsonde data shortly, but this will probably be cat 3 within a few hours I would assume.

edit: should also be able to confirm the eye wall closing back up like it seems from ir and radar
