My favorite part of TD. He’s such a narcissist, viewing himself as erudite and superior in every way, and then gets his shite pushed in for the utterly idiotic positions he takes. He probably likes it, being a groomer Aggie.

This has been the case for years.

Make sure you thank a Democrat today. They want separate rules for themselves and their voters.

I don't get it. Are you upset that towing cars with ropes is legal in Tennessee or that brown people are doing it?

If you see it all the time you might just live near an auto auction place.

How would a random trooper in Tennessee know whether Rogelio Martinez is an illegal alien or just an American citizen with no driver's license? Are you suggesting that anyone with a Latino name, brown skin or an accent who is accused of a minor traffic infraction should not receive a routine citation but should instead be arrested and jailed, pending a determination of his immigration status?

Because it sounds like that is EXACTLY what you are suggesting.

They know, talk to a cop sometime. They could easily find a reason to ask for ID. How as an American can you justify our country being invaded

I'm just asking how to justify arresting Latinos without legally-sufficient cause.

Why would that matter? Ever watch cop shows? Jose Feliciano does a California stop, or doesn’t use his blinker, whatever. What is the first thing a cop asks for? Driver’s license and (usually) proof of insurance, as required by law in many states. Jose says he doesn’t have a drivers license. Well that’s alright Jose, this is Tennessee, sanctuary state for all scofflaws and illegals. How about that proof of insurance? No comprende’ you say? Insurance, you know, in case you have an accident. No insurance? Oh, you’re just up here from Guatemala to pick up some cars? Well, have a nice day Mr. Feliciano, our laws don’t apply to you according to ICE, so you have a nice day and I hope my stopping you for your infraction didn’t offend you in any way. I don’t need Merrick Garland sending my boss another letter because I mistakenly thought everyone with driving privileges had to obey the law.

Hey pedohank, if you are running out of file space just use your client files since they are clearly empty considering how much time you spend posting on this board

Well Hank your Texas trailer brake argument is a bit sketchy. You might follow a couple class A rv forums to further understand the issue of braking requirements on non-commercial towed vehicles. There are about a dozen different requirements across the United States for non-commercial vehicles and cops generally inforce the standard used by the license plate on the vehicle. Texas does have a simpler more practical standard that is derived from the braking capacity of the lead vehicle. Your 4500 lb limit does not meet the test, as the braking capacity required is two vehicles times 4100 pounds or 9100 pounds. The tow train in that case would have to have auxiliary braking controls installed on each of the cars being towed, which in theory may be done, but more likely to be uncontrollable coordinating the 3-4 vehicle brake sets. As the vehicles were spotted in Tennessee , the more stringent requirement for Tennessee would be required, even in texas, which calls for both standard braking and brake away braking on each vehicle.
There is lots of case law associated with non-commercial trailers braking loose and causing mayhem.
My experience with the requirement is supported by 15 years of motor home pulling a Toad, small 4 wheel drive pickup across most states west of the Missippi. Texas requirement was met by 25000 pound motor home braking capacity being able to tow 4100 pound truck according to Ford Mfg rating. I do not as a practice like the addition of auxiliary /brakeaway system as they add complexity and result in as many failures as they attempt to avoid.

If he produces a driver's license, then he should be cited. If he doesn't, he should be arrested.

Samuel Francis first coined the term “anarcho-tyranny” in a 1994 essay titled Anarcho-Tyranny, U.S.A., summarized as:

“A concept where the state is more interested in controlling citizens so that they don’t oppose managerial class, rather than tending to real criminals. Laws are argued to be enforced selectively depending on what is beneficial to the ruling elite.”

Illegals also get to file personal injury lawsuits and other civil litigation in our courts. Think about that for a minute.
