Hoping to find an all inclusive for the wife and me, would be nice if it were no kids for next month. But man there are a million options.

Anyone have any suggestions of places they've been that would fit the bill would be greatly appreciated.

Do a cruise. Screw those who say they aren’t a blast.

We are going to breathless riviera in April

First time leaving America.

How long should I want my connections to be if I’m going thru DFW?

Anything between 50 min to an hour is doable if you don't have kids, but I would try to get a seat closer to the front and avoid gate checking bags. Anything under 50 minutes is cutting it very close.

There are a lot of “Palace” resorts. If you stay at one you can eat or play at them all, unless something has changed.

Pretty heavy party resort, just as an FYI.

adding- book through a member instead of the regular sites. you can find members in the palace resorts facebook group. i just did this and saved a grand, and the members get perks for booking others.

Will be my first vacation without small children in 2 years. Don’t worry I’ll fit right in lol

Check out Secrets Akumal or Maroma both are adults only. If you don't mind kids/families Grand Vellas Riveria Maya would be my top choice.

Skip cancun and go to Isla Mujeres. Better beach. No seaweed.
I've been 3x this year. I love it. I discovered it after staying at an all inclusive for three days like you.

If you have the means, stay at least 4 nights and 5 if at all possible. Been to several AIs in the Caribbean. Our favs in Cancun area are Secrets Maroma and Iberostar Grand Paraiso. Both are adults only.

RIU Palace, then take a day trip to Isla Mujeres. RIU Palace is a great all-inclusive for adults only

With only 3 days to work with, I would avoid anything with long shuttle or ferry times. Get as much vacation time in as you can. Stick to either Cancun hotel zone, Playa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos or Maroma Beach which will keep you less than an hour from airport.

Secrets Maroma Beach, Excellence Playa Mujeres, and TRS Coral are a couple of can't miss choices.

Another vote for the excellence properties. Both are great for adults only.

Riu Palace is alright. We've gone twice and had a good time but Excellence is nicer.

I haven't gone to the Xcaret adults only down in Tulum but I've heard it's amazing.
