This is a good matchup. Both teams return a lot of talent. Both teams used the portal effectively to fill wholes. Veteran QBs with something to prove to take it to the next level. Both are top 10 talent hoping their play escalates them to the playoff group of teams. I think we win, but believe they are a quality opponent. You gotta love it.

Lets play ball!

I'm not writing them off. I think they're a good team. I've just got a feeling we come out and stomp their nuts in. It's only going to be a dogfight for the first half. We pull away in the 3rd and it's pretty much over going into the 4th.

I know it’s not the same scenario but I remember thinking this last year.

Most likely will be a close game. FSU is experienced and their coach is doing a great job. I think we win by 7-10.

Exactly. New year, new team. Last year was great, but its a new year with lots of new faces on both teams. The team we see wk 1 is not the team we will see wk 7. Both teams will be well prepared and have a lot of talent on the field. Whoever makes the least mistakes should win the game. Mistakes is what killed us last year. Will be interesting to see how prepared we look.

Our OL should be a lot better. This is one of those games where you can’t give up big plays or costly turnovers.

I wonder what the running game looks like with so many RBs but no one really separating themselves from the rest. And FSU has a really good DL

I think that LSU has more to play for, with both the revenge factor and the "we need to prove ourselves" factor. I think we'll have a big chip on our shoulder. This should all account, hopefully, for points that lead to our victory.

Exactly my partner. With that being said check out their season finale where it took a last minute score to beat FL. Gators ran over their arse all game long. Both of those LA RBs for sunbelt billy crushed them. Each went over 100 yards. The noles also had their best interior DLineman, lovett for that game. He missed the bowl game.

They return pretty much their entire offense. Biggest losses are two of top three receivers and second leading rusher.

The game will likely be a nailbiter, as these type of games typically are. I can make no prediction. It should give us a decent indication for the season. That’s all I’ve got.

LSU wins this game by 10+ points. That’s not a slight on FSU. We have a blue chip talent advantage by 25 points. Our OL will be light years better game 1 from last years game. Daniel’s has a year in the system. Tigers roll

I felt the same way before the FSU game last year.

I'm not taking anything for granted this year.

Proof is in the pudding. Need to see it on field.

FSU had more draftable guys return than anyone in college football. Also arguably the best transfer portal class in the country.

Setting yourself for disappointment to think this isn’t a big challenge. Gonna have to play well.

Arkansas game was a nail biter. Their QB probably couldn't start for any other SEC School.

If their starter had been healthy, I doubt we would have won.
