I don't care either way, although I probably would be more likely to watch if played the week before the Super Bowl.

That's dumb.

It is a worthless game in the first place, and it would be made even more worthless since the teams in the Super Bowl (who tend to have more Pro Bowl players) would not paticipate.

Pretty good move, imo. The players from the Super Bowl teams usually back out anyway, so it's not like this will change much in that aspect.

Even more players won't show up, especially guys on SB teams.

I've been waiting my entire life for somebody to wise up and make this decision. Unfortunately, at this point, the entire NFC team will be comprised of Washington Redskins, as they currently have 19 players slated to go.

It would be nice if they'd do it at the midpoint of the season like every other sport. And, make it touch football. And, only send the worst players of every team. And, hold the ProBowl in Shreveport instead of Hawaii.

I regress...one step at a time...

Probowl representation usually sucks. This year is no exception.

They aren't moving it this year. The article says it will be next year. It will be part of the Superbowl-week hype and would be in the same stadium as the Superbowl.

The one good thing about it is that the teams in the Superbowl could have their guys at the game, although they wouldn't be playing, of course.

Still, this is not a big deal for me either way. I've just never been able to get into the pro bowl.

But yeah, pretty dumb move. No player in the SB is going to play in this game. It will make it even more meaningless.
