What LA high school had the most dominant reign in a period?

I'm going to go with Evangel from 1995 to 2007. Seemed like there were 5 guys a year there that were going to a UT, USC, Florida, Miami, the top at that time.
Another question is what LA high school quietly produces a ton of talent? I'd go with Neville on that one. Seems they have an ESPN 150 every other year.

Nobody tops John Curtis. They have the most state championships in Louisiana high school football and nobody even comes close.

Before recruiting
Ferriday has a long history of success in football. They won four straight state championships from 1953 to 1956 and had a combined record of 52-1-2 in those four years.

I feel like the answer should be Evangel or John Curtis maybe both. I remember a time it seemed like they was just both unstoppable.

Evangel definitely had more elite level recruits than anyone else because of the way they scoured the south for players. They’ve completely fallen off for about a decade now. Curtis has no doubt been the standard not just in Louisiana, but nationally in high school football. They don’t usually have a bunch of 4 and 5 star kids, but their team is always incredibly disciplined and well coached. JT Curtis is 7 wins away from breaking the all time wins record nationally after getting the job in 1969.

If we are just talking NFL quality talent all time that actually makes it to the league, in Louisiana it's ST. Aug and it's not even close.

What sport? Because Jesuit and brother Martin wrestling both had serious runs of dominance

Undoubtedly Evangel. Had the #1 QB in the state/country for more than a decade straight. Not to mention setting the record for D-1 signings. A school with 1A/2A enrollment dominating 5A. WM couldn't even beat them in the dome. Meanwhile, Curtis hid in 4A to pad their stats and avoid Evangel and WM. The one time they made the mistake of actually playing Evangel, Evangel was up 28-0 before putting in the 8th graders like JD Booty and Jacob Hester. And the year they played De La Salle in the first nationally televised HS football game, they were without a QB because JD Booty had left, being the 1st HS player to leave a year early to play college ball. And he damn near beat out Matt Leinart! He did win the backup role ahead of Matt Cassel. And Bob Stoops himself said that if Brent Rawls could have kept his head on straight, you'd have never heard of Jason White. So yeah, between 93-02 abouts, you'll never see anything like it again!

They were indeed dominant. Should it be factored in that they were giving away GEDs though?

Hard to leave out Acadiana HS in the last 15 years. 5 or 6 state titles running the veer at a 5A public school in the largest & toughest district in the state.

Too long ago for most of you and not from this area. But the Jesuit(Shreveport) Blue Flyers were dominant in their day. Their legendary coach, C.O. Brocato, chain smoked on the sideline. Crazy. They were feared and were offensive juggernauts.

Is it worth mentioning that all those titles were during the period where they were a private school actively recruiting playing across the realm of public schools that could not recruit?
Where would you draw the line looking at public schools winning titles during those days and placing a bit more emphasis on the fact they’re playing with whoever walks in the door?
Ruston and Haynesville had some teams back in the day. WM obviously falls in there too. I think Neville and Karr also need to fall in the list of public schools. What about Woodlawn back when Bradshaw and Parrish were there?

You probably want football, but its girls basketball.
Baskin high:
218 straight wins from 1948-;1953
313-2 from 1945- 1955
9 state championships in that period, including 8 in a row.
