I drove through Alabama the other day I 85 was closed for no reason. Delayed 2 hours and had to take a detour through the side surface streets and was shocked at what I saw. I always knew Alabama as a state was a dump but Holy God, what I saw looked like the trailer park meth capital of the world on a few blocks then after driving through that shite hole, ended up in a hood and could not believe at the amount of people standing around drinking and doing Jack shite. Actually got a little nervous stopping at the red light. In other words, that state is not great - it’s a fricking embarrassment to this country. What a shithole

Don’t bring your arse back then. If you are in Mississippi and need to get to Georgia, take a detour and drive through Tennessee to get there and vice versa. If you decide to drive through and break down, or have a flat, fix the fricker yourself. By your rant, I can tell you don’t know shite about Alabama.

he certainly hasn't distinguished himself yet.
he may yet.
holding up promotions to make some other point how he feels about the other story is just low. its a dick move that shows his lack of breadth of understanding.
5 yr old as senator.
he can't do anything.
I'm so mad. here, let me punish career officers.
makes so much sense.

None of this actually happened.

Certainly a lot of truth in your statement rustling the haters.
The brave citizens of Pennsylvania have done a better job lowering the bar a State's representation in D.C.

I'm not totally against it - but I'm 10000% more on board with it if the other option involves nutball Kari Lake.

Being a GOP Senator from AL has got to be one of the easiest gigs in the world. Your main job is to just vote the right way and sometimes make a speech or statement about the evils of Democrats. Maybe introduce a bill now and then. Your seat is safe and no one really expects much else from you. After 20 or so years in office you might get to Chair a Committee.

Remember everyone loved Jeff Sessions until he became AG and had to do an actual job that required skill. Sessions was far more qualified than Tuberville.

A VP needs to be someone who can step into the big office at any time. That sure as hell isn't Tuberville. He's just fine exactly where he is.

but that was an eye opener for me since Alabama is geographically a beautiful state.

So a simple-minded guy like you rode through one section of a town in Alabama, and now says the entire state is a "shite-hole".
Thanks for the quick peak into the "depth" of your mentality!

I'm not a fan of Tuberville (which is saying something since I AM an Auburn fan), but what vital functions does the VP serve, exactly? Our current VP is dumber than a sack of hammers and she's surviving in the position.

I suppose the big problem with an idiot for VP is if something happens to the POTUS, but that's just not likely. And even if something does happen, it's happened before and we've survived...I'd say Tommy Tuberville and Gerald Ford are pretty comparable.

You must have really low expectations. Because all I’ve seen from Tuberville is meaningless grandstanding in culture war issue.

I have lived in Mobile the last 8 years and Birmingham, Auburn, Huntsville and Decatur most of the previous 40 years.

Mobile is the prettiest town I ever saw. I choose to live here.

The other places in Alabama I have lived are almost certainly nicer than whatever pit you have ever lived in.

Your comment is ignorant, severely ignorant.
