Based on the last 5 years, that would put LSU right at the #5 mark overall. If they can pick up a few extras they can maybe hit that top 3 mark.

I mean, that's pretty much been LSU recruiting for the last couple of decades.

The class Billy mocked isn't touching top 5. Top 10 possibly which is close to average for down instate years. No room for error and likely need some bumps to lock that in. OL, DL/Edge/LB(outside of Mckinley) a bit underwhelming(due to misses not the lands mostly). DB fantastic, offensive skill solid helped tremendously by the addition of Durham. Wr is kind of blah. Lose either of the 2 instate blue chips and top 10 is very likely out of the question.

LSU has been reaching more nationally. Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri are just a few they’ve ventured more into, successfully, might I add, since the new regime has taken over. We do not know what’s going on behind the scenes to also imply this specific class doesn’t have targets nationally. A chunk of these Louisiana kids are also going to pop, look at McBryde and Billiot, just recently.

Would love if we could pull Colin Simmons and Dominick McKinley.

Our recruiting is national. Still, I think we could do better in Texas, Missouri, and Mississippi.

If we can pull Mack, McKinley, Bates along with the others listed I'd be pretty happy. I'd like to see another quality LB option pop though. Maybe Singleton chooses LSU or another guy off radar appears.

How much have you given to LSU's NIL collective?

On the Roster we have a dozen from Texas.
Missouri, we have 4 players all from the same high school, the same high school on one team, how hard is that to do? De Smet Jesuit High School, it helps that DB Coach Steeples coached there, also helps that they put talent out in that school. It also helped that he played with the Rams, Vikings, Chiefs and Cowboys. Helps that he coached with the Vikings.
Mississippi not as good as the other two.
As always, we have been very good getting players out of Alabama, Georgia and Florida. The shocker is 4 players from the state of Maryland. With Kelly, he’s always pulled kids from all over the US. We’ve picked up top players from a number of states as of late. That trend should continue.
