Based on this, I recommend you stick to low cost whole market index funds. VTI, for example.

My allocation is…

25% VIGIX (growth)
25% VIVIX (value)
25% VMGMX (mid-cap growth)
25% VSCIX (small-cap index)

I’m in the camp that international funds are not what they use to be 20+ years ago. The higher fees deterred me.

I’m 37 by the way. Plan on leaving it like this until at least 50 for the time being.

100% VFIAX is the best imo for those more than 10 years to retirement. With that being said, wait another year and by the dip on the market. This is a bear market rally.
