I took TSLA 169,165,170 and 200Cs last week when they were dirt cheap. Did you listen to the call? Not one but two FSD contracts coming (granted multi year implementation for other OEMs), Optimus well on the path to usage in 5 years, staying focused on traditional business (cost cutting) and saying ...

Me. And my calls are printing like Jpows money printer.
inb4 “lucky call on Israeli war news”. We wouldn’t be reacting this way if volatility hadn’t been at such compressed levels for so long. Tomorrow is monthly opex and yesterday was vixperiation so tomorrow should be spicy. Hopefully big dump...

Apparently listing my substack (without a link) twice in the span of a month or more is “promoting” it. Peace out, this board can figure it out on your own from now on. ...

Delta map of SPX complex
This massive drop off was WAY bigger before march opex. It was a slippery slope that couldnt be avoided....by the way the date besides that drop off is 4/18. This is the power of delta hedging flows m...

1st thing to learn about the market is the news doesn't matter (aside from major breaking news catalyst). It's all a smoke screen, they choose the headline/narrative to fit the price action. ...

"people think the markets been moving higher on actual equity buying. But it hasnt. Last few months have been non stop call buying only (nobody wants to buy the crap this overvalued). When you sell call options to call buyers you buy the underlying asset to hedge your risk (call buyer will make mone...

Longer term call buying never came in post March opex. Nothing but 0dte and dealers had a MASSIVE bag of long hedge. Now they're caught short puts and the only way to hedge it is to short the market lower. Gamma squeeze works both ways....

I’ve ran engineering firms, have done recruiting and hiring. To me it’s the full ride no questions. Unless he’s looking into something like software engineering (which a degree isn’t really necessary anyway) or a niche engineering field where the college name matters more. For all other engineering ...

Yeah you got it all figured out BigDud. You don’t know shite about this biz. I’m sorry you lost your life savings when you tried. Or did my wittle stock of da year make you woos ya money? lol alright buddy you’re right. There did that stroke your ego enough? Do you feel better getting that off your chest?
So to recap: I’m full of shite but you think I understand the fundamentals of options but it’s too complicated for your smooth brain to understand, therefore it can’t possibly w...

Yes you do misunderstand options badly. 95%+ of volume isn’t between you and another person like me. It between you and a dealer who uses a hedging algo to buy and sell the underlying asset such that he has zero directional risk and simply collects the premium. Something Jag and I do. One side almos...

Yeah, I prefer buying an option that’s a little out of the money. So I choose my strike based on delta then make sure the chart and everything else supports it reaching that strike plus more with plenty time left to expiration. It’s also a better way to communicate a trade regardless of product if t...
