If it’s not secure? Sure. Along with rights come responsibilities. If you’re going to own a gun, you should at least secure it.

A house is more secure, and less likely to be targeted than a vehicle. Guns for self defense do no good locked up in a safe.

Educating people on how often guns are stolen from vehicles is important, but blaming people for getting their guns stolen from a house is dumb.

Seems if the vast majority of guns used in crimes are stolen from vehicles maybe law enforcement should place a higher priority on stopping this type of crime. I am pretty sick of hearing, "was your car locked" every time something is stolen from a car. Its far past time to really put some focus on these handle pullers.

You’re a fricking retard. Should the guy that gets his truck stolen and it’s used in a bank robbery be liable to pay the bank back.

Console vault makes a good product for secure storage. 10 minute installation. Easy to get 10% discount. I’m good as of today with Taurus G3X but eyeing the PSA Dagger FDE and TP9 Elite SC.

Cheap and accurate finding ammunition that gives you the desired accuracy required.

( sometimes they get stolen )

This is my recommendation.

Do a lot of range practice with it as well as you need it for a catastrophic event and you gotta be ready to be able to administer rapid deterrent measures when required.

Good luck and be ready.

Hey man, frick you. How about we blame the criminals instead of the people who got their shite stolen by criminals?

What we SHOULD do is actually prosecute the frickheads who are breaking already existing laws.

I don’t think you should be held liable in any way. At the same time, some people aggressively insist on keeping a gun in the vehicle overnight (without it being locked in a safe or something). Or they’re persistently careless about it. “It’s just a cheap Taurus so no worries!” Those people are a hazard and shouldn’t even have a gun bc they don’t care to maintain control over it.

Oh please. I disagree with holding people liable like he suggested but don’t pretend leaving a gun in your car is the same as keeping it in your house. There are thug trash fanning out in neighborhoods pulling car door handles every damn night. There’s no reason to keep a gun in your glove compartment. It will get stolen eventually.

They need to be executed. But there are no consequences so no hope this rampant theft will stop.

If we'd just toss these frickers in jail for years we'd at least thin the herd quite a bit.

And it’s frustrating bc the laws already allow for this. But they’re usually not caught. Cops don’t have the resources to aggressively investigate car burglars. When caught, they aren’t given long sentences. They plea down to misdemeanors or given probation etc. If given prison time, the yr e out quickly on parole.

It takes a bunch of felony convictions now to put anyone away for an appreciation amount of time. And it doesn’t often happen with liberal DAs, which is every major city.

What always scared the shite out of me during my time in BR was that if I ended up shooting one those tPOS shitheads in self defense I’d have to deal with BRPD. You’d be dealing with someone who barley finished HS trying to interpret the law. Many are from NBR as well. It would be a crap shoot as to what kind of cop would meet you at the scene and those odds always freaked me out. The wrong cop would try and turn a case on you and charge you.

Always remember, ask for an attorney and never talk to the cops, even if they threaten you if shite goes down.

No need for investigation. A couple of cops and a few laptops or ipads with tracking devices inside. Put a half ounce of gold in them too so they can be worth over 1k to be sure it qualifies as a felony.

No, you’re a fricking retard if you equate having a stolen vehicle used in a bank robbery to some dumbass leaving an unsecured pistol in an unlocked truck.

I had been keeping a S&W 357 in the truck for years and finally decided it was too expensive to risk getting it stolen.

So the solution is to just let the thugs have a cheaper gun instead of making sure it's actually secured from theft?

Jesus fricking christ, we're doomed.
