I could see him winning 8-9 wins a year once he gets rolling. His personality and fame will get kids there

They were 1-11 last year. The next three years:

7-5
9-3
11-1 playoffs

He essentially ran his 1’s against his 3’s at the spring game on offense and defense.

So there was not a lot of competition and one would expect the offense to look good.

Honestly he has already been a huge success. That was a dead program and he has revived the energy and is already bringing in players that they couldn’t dream of bringing in before.
If he consistently wins 8-9 there he’s a superstar coach. If he takes them higher than that??? Man

I think realistically 7-8 wins per year is likely, but the ceiling is there for more. They could easily have the second most talented roster in the “new” PAC most years

I’m guessing they get to a bowl game this year, and he either jumps to an SEC job, or some NFL team hires him. I don’t think he stays in Boulder more than 2 years.

Before some of y’all laugh about the NFL, Kliff Kingsbury and Lovie Smith have recently held NFL jobs

It is a stepping stone. He has to prove he can improve a team that plays D 1 ball. He won’t be as successful as Bill M, but he doesn’t need to be. He will win 8-9 games a few times and move on up.

He will probably sell the shite out of himself, maybe even get a tv or merchandise deal out of it. Very successful

And the team might even win a game or two

Not to mention he got his mediocre son a slot on national television every week. That’s a win in itself even if shadeur goes 50% and 1:1 td:int

I think he would produce solid teams on talent alone and will lose 2 regular seasons a year due to bad coaching.

He acts like he's Nick Saban and everything around him must be 5 star. I hope he fails.

He'll get them to some bowls from that weak arse conference but they'll struggle this coming season.

I’m going to assume he’s going to keep recruiting at a high enough level to make bowl eligibility the minimum expectation

As the CEO-type HC it boils down to
1. Can he keep attracting quality coaches
2. Can he maintain a disciplined program culture

Ed Orgeron is the recruiter who couldn’t do 1 and 2 and it gets ugly quick

6-9 wins a season seems right. With their portal success they’ll be competitive quickly but sustained elevated success is another animal

Conference realignment is also a variable. It might make his road easier by going back to a watered down Big12 but that might impact recruiting
