Idiocracy, the movie that started out as a comedy, but ended up a tragic documentary. Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho is not the hero we need, it's certainly the one we ddeserve. With 2 D's, for a double dose of this pimpin'.

Look at who stopped having kids. There's your answer.
The intelligent and successful will die off, and stupidity replaces them. Its already happening as IQs drop across the world.

And unless you live in the United States of Fentanyl and High fructose corn syrup, people are living longer than ever, largely offsetting population loss.
The problem isn't the fertility rate, its who is doing the reproducing. My wife and I are in 80th income percentile for our area and struggle to see how the numbers and time would work out for having a second kid.

No, it's actually the best thing for this world as it stands.
It's pretty much a 100% certainty that whenever someone says something like this, it's never their existence (or that of their family + friends) that's the problem; it's someone else's existence that's the problem.
You could be a hero and start solving the problem right now. But you won't, of course.
Kind of like Milton Friedman addressing critics of capitalism and greed: it's never the critic that's greedy, it always the other people who are greedy that's the problem.

The people that are reproducing in my area are the ones that probably shouldn't be....
We need productive people to support those who are too old to work. And that means we need people not dependent on the government for everything.

Those that are living longer aren't paying taxes in large amounts and are taking more resources. This is part of the problem. If natural selection was still in play, this would be fine. But its been suspended and we keep stupid people alive.
Half the kids in California's schools are functionally illiterate, the average American reads on a 7th-8th grade level, and things are only going to get worse.
Less people doesn't mean less stupidity, it will probably mean more.

Yes we have 8 billion people in the Works but the replacement level isn’t sustainable. We have so many today because people are living longer. As the Baby Boomer generation dies off then the number is suppose to drop to around 6 billion.

Yes

So the shittiest areas that resemble early human hunter/gatherer days, and repeatedly need assistance from the rest of the world are the ones who are reproducing the most.
That’s just so great.

Sweet. I’m going to get a deal on a beach house in 10 years.

We no longer have to have ten kids and hope that five survive. That shite still happens in Africa and Asia, but not here. We also live much longer, so we are forced to care for our elderly parents; This is exacerbated by the massive Baby Boomer generation. Once they die off and the population decreases, resources (including time) will become less scares, and adults will be more willing to have more children.

Jokes on you. Blackrock and Bill Gates types will own all the real estate and you will be a debt vassal to sustain the perpetually unemployed underclass.

Correct. The ones who generate wealth to help feed them are dying off.
Its a disaster in the making.

I don’t see anything wrong with this, the only impending catastrophe is the high birth rates in Africa. They are fricked
Majority of them will be brought to the US, Canada, and western Europe.

Ok. What do you want to do force people to have more kids? In the long run the world will probably be better for it. It might suck financially for a while but after hundreds of years it will even out.
