No, no it’s not.

The Earth CANNOT sustain the current population as is.

This is a good thing.

We don't have a scarcity problem now, and educated people are choosing not to reproduce.

For years, prior to 2000, the extremists were screaming about the accelerated growth in population and how Earth could not sustain the population. Now we have another group saying the growth is not enough.

Funny how such a drastic change in the theory can happen over such a short period of time! Or really, how stats can be manipulated to show whatever the F you want them to.

Places like Italy and Puerto Rico and central/South America surprise me

They have a pretty good family culture in those nations you’d think they’d be higher

Well the reason it’s becoming dumber is look at areas with high birth rates vs those with the lowest.

Higher average IQ nations have lowest birth rates

Because the world has never been overpopulated. Its drama.

Having your successful people go into decline can be disastrous.

It's really not. "Replacement level" is a meme by economists to justify immigration.

there are probably billions of people across the world struggling to eat right now. Then think about how much rice and beans gets thrown away at mexican restaurants across the US daily.

You are 100% right about what you just stated. Fixing global hunger is a whole other topic. As it sits right now, I think the global reduction in population is not a bad thing.

Yes we have 8 billion people in the Works but the replacement level isn’t sustainable. We have so many today because people are living longer. As the Baby Boomer generation dies off then the number is suppose to drop to around 6 billion.

Is a global population reduction a bad thing? To me that’s not a bad thing.

The poor will keep growing, the wealthy are decreasing. You don't see problems on the horizon with this?

US needs to incentivize children for high income/high value families, and disincentivize for low income/low value families

I agree with this roger. I would not have any children in this day and she. I really feel for the future.
