Do you enjoy having ambient sound?

I regulary will have a youtube station going with ambient sounds. Currently have a spring afternoon video going currently. I sometimes will change up on the seasons but usually stick with the current.

I have to at this point. I had a bad ear infection and the tinutus is killing me while everything drains out.

I have a box fan, ceiling fan, and a sound machine rolling while I sleep at night. White noise or pink noise real loud makes for a great night's sleep.

I use the Alexa in our bedroom to turn on thunderstorm/ocean wave/city rain sounds for bed and it's really nice. I usually listening to 104.5 during the workday.

On a serious note, I have a bit of tinnitus from listening to music too loud when I was younger. It's close to 10khz and I can hear it when it's fairly quite. I don't really do anything to mitigate it though.

I've had the same rain machine for 15 years. I sleep with it every night. If I'm traveling and forget it, I use my phone.

I use an app named sleepa and a tower fan. with Sleepa you can dial up whichever color noise youd like, AMSR, or choose stuff like rain, tides, fire, wind, or a mixture of all. Tinnitus from being around jet engines my entire life plus not taking good care of my hearing at concerts or hunting. makes it impossible to not have those and get sleep
