Lol, I just had a UF fan tell me the exact same about LSU! Said they struggle against great pitching and said with LSUs deep arse bull pen they would not win a 3 game series against us

They only got 3 hits verse Johnny Allstaff and the buns from Bama

The relief pitching isn’t very good

The starters are very good

Their bullpen isn't good right now. But by the time we would play them Sully would probably have that figured out

Two one-seeds regularly matchup in the supers.

Also, not diminishing what Florida did at all, but I think everyone knew Bama’s not as good as their record shows.

First opportunity to face them will be the SEC Tournament. Get to their bullpen and our starting pitchers are pretty damn good too. I would enjoy playing them. It would be a good game.

Sproat was dominat

Question is, Did you leave off the "e" or the "n"?

I found out something interesting about that word that is so misused on here. It was originally a division of bureaucracy in Turkiye. A Dominate. It was devised to better control the population, hence its current meaning.

We knocked Sproat around last year.

And we have three, too.

Wyatt Langford got hurt this week. Sprained testicle or something like that. He's gonna be out a few weeks. Bama may have a slight chance today with Ben Hess on the mound if Hurston has a bad outing? Not likely.

And we have 4 or 5, and a deeper bullpen. I'm not worrying about them. if we face them at some point in the postseason, I know that while victory is never guaranteed, we will be able to match up with anyone they, or anyone else can throw at us. from a talent perspective.

And that feels good.

We will also be a problem. I don’t understand these types of threads.

LSU‘s baseball program; staff, players, and fans included should never be scared or intimidated to play anyone. Come on man

We'll obviously see how it plays out, but I think Alabama isn't very good and their intramural OOC tour hid their deficiencies.

Much like lsu, once real ball starts they condense the unit down to the best arms. They have a cluster of guys that have wipeout stuff

Not sure if you saw my post in the preview thread, but I think you'd be interested in this. Go look at Joe Doyle (from Prospects Live) twitter feed. He posted a chart showing NCAA breaking ball average velo and induced vertical break. Brody Brecht throws the hardest breaking ball in the country. Number two is Lebarron Johnson (Johnson's also has over a foot of induced vertical break).

Just interesting that we've faced two elite breaking balls so far this year. Good prep for the SEC schedule.
