I read them about 10 years ago and don’t remember what happened.

Same. I thought they were just kind of ok when reading them. People talked them up so much I remember being somewhat disappointed.

Yea this is the Wool trilogy

There are 5 short books in the wool series.

The first book was the twist. The other 4 were a rather straight forward story.

I'm excited to see it brought to the screen. Plenty of action to keep it interesting.

Also there was a prequel trilogy called Silo which makes this a bit confusing

Wool was the first series
Shift was the prequel series
Dust was the finale

Together they make up the "silo" saga.

Hmmm... are there goobleboxes and a teenyverse?

Silo comes out this Friday. Who else is ready for this? Loved the books and this looks very promising.

I know nothing about the books but between Severance, Black Bird, Tehran and Slow Horses ATV+ has a really high hit ratio for the type of stuff I like.

i see that this show is rated TV-MA.

While i was curious if this would be an appropriate show for my 12 year old to watch, i would much rather see Ms. Ferguson's nekkid bahdy, although i'm sure we'll get some dangling dick as the TV-MA part, not her sweet tits.

This show does look very interesting though.

Are the books rather R-rated, or would they be ok for a 12 year old to read?
