MLB doesn't have the same travel concerns that NCAA has, plus they probably would have tarped the field.
Still, the rule is the same, if a game is called after 5 innings have been completed, the score goes back to the last completed inning.

Stop acting like La Tech can't afford to make the 4 hour bus ride back to Oxford or that Ole Miss and La Tech don't have a Tuesday or Wednesday free over the next month to finish the game.
It's really not that difficult.
