re: Why is there such a push to not blame COVID on a lab leak?

It was developed here, and shipped to China. The China release was a joint venture, and the lab gave them a plausible lab error defense, and location prevented anyone from any investigation. This was game-planned to change the direction of the US economy, change elections; and China and Democrats were directly to blame. All the facts are there in the open; hopefully they come out one day, but it’s looking like they were successful at controlling every attempt to unravel this conspiracy
There was "successful" gain of function done here prior to funding being banned. It should be a criminal offense of the most serious kind to fool around with such things.
This an American who is fluent in Mandarin who read the published scientific papers from Wuhan lab about their discovery of a "new and terrible" coronavirus. It was out very early, but our intrepid MSM was too dumb to do the same.

Lab Leaks... Someone is embarrassed and someone suffers the mess

Lab leak=somebody has to be held accountable
Natural occurrence=nobody fault/no accountability

Politicians on both sides, intelligence agencies, military leaders, doctors, hospitals, health professionals, they all threw their reputations in the toilet while 15 million people died all because the fricking cheeto hurt their feelings. I left out the media because they threw their reputations away decades ago
Because President Donald J Trump said he saw intelligence indicating such. Therefore, the progressives in government, corporations and citizens had to all say the opposite so they could steal the election.
Now we have an 80 year old man who wears diapers running our country.
Frick all of you who bought into this.

I think it's simple. It would demonstrate that Trump was correct in restricting flights from China. If you recall, Dems, were quick to label Trump as merely racist and they (Pelosi et. al.) ran out to places like, Chinatown, to hug a Chinese person.
It was all about framing a political narrative from the very start to get Trump out of office.
It had nothing to do with truth. It was about manipulating low IQ voters.

Glenn Greenwald has like 10 tweets on this today, just roasting the media for repeating whatever the intel agencies and Fauci told them to say.

Seems there is more of a push to say it was a lab leak these days. Does it really matter whether lab leak or wet market, it still most likely come out of chyna for whatever that's worth at this point.

Setting the stage for everyone to be mad a china when we go to war with them and Russia.

The military-industrial complex is definitely ramping up the rhetoric against China.

They don’t want to accept blame for something they said didn’t happen 3 years ago.

China has instituted a number of new regulations regarding wet markets since the onset of covid which should help in preventing future outbreaks to some extent

Those who don't learn the origin of a pandemic are doomed to repeat it.
So any measures to regulate wet markets are extraneous to CV19 origin.

Then China becomes fully liable and I'm sure they have already told everyone they will respond aggressively to any indication they could be blamed.
This has a much higher chance of starting WW3 than Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

quote:Correct.
I think they are just NOW ADMITTING is was a "leak," but nothing more.
quote:I think you're wrong. The earliest conspiracy stuff was that China created it and on purpose let it out. The elite have hidden behind that fog (yes, CONFLATING IT with a simple accidental leak theory) instead of admitting it. Certainly you remember the open letter from the scientists that was retracted AFTER Trump was ousted?
Speculating HOW it was possibly leaked (there's no indication in what's been released and nothing definitively saying it was "accidental") is not "conflating" anything
